On June 5, the "Discover Anhui, Meet in Hefei" 2025 Hefei Culture & Tourism Promotion Event, guided by the Anhui Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Hefei Municipal People’s Government, and hosted by the China National Tourist Office in Tokyo and the Hefei Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, was grandly held in Tokyo, Japan.
This event aimed to comprehensively showcase Hefei’s rich "historical and cultural" heritage and its "scientific innovation" spirit, injecting new momentum into promoting Sino-Japanese tourism cooperation and the high-quality development of the inbound tourism market.
Over 100 attendees, including tourism industry representatives from China and Japan, travel agency delegates, the Anhui cultural tourism delegation, the Japan Tourism Association (JATA), the Anhui Huishang Exchange Association, Tokyo-based travel agencies, and media representatives, gathered to witness this grand occasion. The event featured promotional videos, tourism resource presentations, and guest speeches, offering a multi-dimensional display of Hefei’s natural scenery, historical culture, and modern development.
Promotional videos of Anhui and Hefei were screened, highlighting "the poetic beauty of Anhui’s landscapes and the vibrant synergy of Hefei’s scientific innovation with its historical legacy."
